GSG Welcomes BetterSeeds as aNew PBI Management Program Member

The Global Stewardship Group is excited to welcome BetterSeeds as a new Plant Breeding Innovation Management Program member.

Based in Israel, BetterSeeds uses CRISPR technology to enhance crop genetics for improved resilience against drought and heat. They integrate breakthrough traits into crops, enabling them to perform exceptionally well under adverse conditions. Their goal is to ensure food security and reduce the dependency on energy-intensive agricultural practices, reducing energy usage and carbon footprint.
