Program Information
Members' Steps to Implementation
STEP 1: Onboarding Meeting
Attend Onboarding Meeting to help understand the ETS process, tools and next steps.
STEP 2: Audit Plan Submission
Submit ETS Audit Plan & await ETS contact. (60 days after Onboarding Meeting)
STEP 3: Orientation Meeting
Attend Orientation Meeting in which ETS will present a more in depth description of the program and applicable modules, details expectations, and can provide advice for contacting auditors, consultants who may be familiar with ETS requirements.
STEP 4: Self-Assessment
Conduct Self-Assessment to help identify gaps and areas for improvement & await ETS contact to schedule Implementation Meeting.
STEP 5: Implementation Meeting
Attend Implementation Meeting where ETS will answer questions and help review the results of the Self-Assessment.
STEP 6: Ongoing Implementation
Continue implementation of appropriate stewardship programs. Contact ETS with questions.
STEP 7: Audit Preparation Meeting
Attend Audit Preparation Meeting where ETS will answer questions regarding the ETS Program Audit.
STEP 8: Undergoing the Audit
ETS Staff suggests scheduling audits 6 to 12 months prior to the 3 year deadline to ensure time to take corrective actions relative to any major non-conformity that could be discovered during the audit.
Once satisfied, direct auditor to complete the ETS Audit Summary Report Form
STEP 9: Closing meeting
Attend Closing Meeting & fill out post-closing meeting survey intended to provide feedback regarding the entire ETS experience.
